Open Ticket volume analytics
Sign in with the authorized role and follow Freshdesk → Analytics → Curated Reports → Ticket volume.
Capture the headline volume
Record tickets created, resolved, reopened, and unresolved for the broadest relevant period.
Review the breakdown
Review workspaces, groups, archived tickets, contacts, companies, agents, and attachment-heavy workflows.
Record scope and history
Write down date range, ticket totals, archive coverage, workspace scope, supporting-object counts, and date checked.
Record what is used—not just what is available.
Freshdesk's strongest preliminary measure is ticket volume and related object counts rather than one byte-size meter.
Storage size does not equal record age.
Closed inactive tickets can be archived but still count in reporting. Active ticket lists may not show the full history.
Common reasons your screen may differ.
Curated reports are unavailable+
Use All tickets with an all-time created-date filter and record the plan limitation.
Several workspaces exist+
Confirm the reporting user can see all of them before treating totals as account-wide.
Prepare or export data only after authorization.
Freshdesk data export
Later exports can be scoped by tickets, contacts, companies, analytics modules, or full account data.
Typical output: CSV or Excel for ticket lists; broader account exports use the account-export workflow.
